Valentia, Roman goddess of healing, had harnessed the gifts of nature — berries, herbs, barks, and other natural ingredients — to heal the people of Umbria.
With a lofty scent of roses, Valentia offers a beautifully aromatic elixir, their Royal Rose Hydrating Serum. This serum transforms my skin to be as soft as petals. Like all Valentia products, it absorbs quick into the skin, leaving nothing but its fresh, wispy fragrance.
|Key ingredients are:
...this serum provides natural antioxidants and hydrates the skin, giving it a chance to heal, while also delivering elements that smooths out wrinkles and skin tone. It also lightens!
As for lightening the skin, I'm not overly excited for anything that reduces melanin production as I like being in the sun. Though, I understand that some people are bothered by hyperpigmentation problems such as age spots and melasma.
Luckily, BEARBERRY also destroys unstable molecules called free radicals that cause wrinkles and fine lines! As for NIACINAMIDE, it is claimed to be a safer skin-lightening agent and is effectively used to decrease rosacea.
REISHI contains polysaccharides, which build skin immunity, and is used to heal wounds, insect stings, sunburns, and rashes.
GOTU KOLA contains triterpenoids that strengthen the skin, increasing blood flow to it. It also provides antioxidant properties, healing injuries and preventing scars.
Probably easy to guess, my favorite part about the romantic Royal Rose Hydrating Serum is its whimsical smell of roses. Though, it does fade away rather quickly. The liquid is non-watery, non-greasy, and neither thin nor thick. As mentioned before, it absorbs quickly and my face is left feeling balanced and strong.
